Once you’ve signed up, go have a look at the ‘Get Involved’ part of the website. Here you’ll find all the available roles within the organisation, as well as Industry Workshops, Studio Academy Days, Pitching, and our Event Calendar.

The Available Roles listed does not always reflect the weekly changes that occur on a production. If you can’t find something you’re interested in, you’re more than welcome to email us or directly contact a show’s producers.

RMITV has two rounds of pitching a year - one at the beginning of each uni semester. There are a variety of grants and initiatives that we ask members to pitch for. More info can be found here.

It always depends on the role, but for the most part. no! RMITV is open for anyone of any level of experience. If you’re unsure about where you’d like to start, you can email our Training Manager here and they’ll help you out.

You can immediately start working on a TV show without any experience or connections! You can write reviews of your favourite upcoming film, you can produce a show, pitch one of your own ideas, write, edit and much much more.

We do indeed! You will need to sign up to RMITV first and then join the group on Facebook. We’ll post jobs and other news on here as well as our website.

Unfortunately no. RMITV will only provide that resource to ‘Approved Productions’.

Anyone over 18 is more than welcome to join!

Unfortunately RMITV does not have the ability to offer internships or course credit. We do have assistant level positions within management that are unpaid though so look out for when those become available!
