The C31 Comedy Specials are ‘Netflix Specials’ for Melbourne’s emerging comedians. The show consists of hour-long stand-up routines filmed in front of a live audience at Theory Bar in Melbourne CBD.

Cryptids Anonymous (2024)

Web Series - Supernatural/comedy - In Pre-Production

In a world where cryptids and urban legends are all real, Bigfoot joins a support group to try and improve his experiences in life. The themes of the series are acceptance, found family and pride in oneself. The story is a queer allegory for what it is like to be viewed as monstrous by society and how community can help an individual come to terms with themselves and begin the long process of accepting their identity and finding pride in it.

Short Film - Surrealist - In Post-Production

When a furniture store salesman realises his existence occurs solely within the confines of a looping advertisement campaign, he must break free from the mysterious store before he is lost to an endless script.

This short film pitch was the recipient of the 2024 Short Film Initiative grant that RMITV offers.

RIFF (2024)

Short Film Festival - Marketing Endeavour - In Pre-Production

RMITV Independent Film Festival is an RMITV-run student film festival, where students will submit short films of their creations for screening at a two-day festival in late October 2024. Adhering to the theme ‘bittersweet’ members of RMITV and The Cinematic Collective (TCC) have the opportunity to showcase their creative work outside the usual RMITV studio-based production environment. You can apply to the festival here.

In Pit Lane is screened weekly on Melbourne's C31, created with RMITV crew. Live to air and watched by over 57, 000 viewers every week In Pit Lane is a unique blend of the latest news, interviews and entertainment.

Five Foot Step (2023-)

TV Series - Gaming - In Production

Five Foot Step is a dungeons and dragons livestream that takes place entirely within a virtual environment out of RMIT Studio B utilising Unreal Engine to create a fully immersive Dungeons and Dragons experience. In collaboration with the Melbourne Dungeons and Dragons Adventurers League.

‘First Run’ brings a host of new wacky storylines, bold characters, and wild settings to Australian screens every Friday night. With a brand new story selected every week from submissions by local young writing talent, you never know what you’re going to get, although the unmatched hosting talent of Dr Dramaturg will graciously guide you through it. Whether it be a heist gone wrong, an ill-fated romance, or a fantasy adventure, ‘First Run‘ never fails to surprise and delight, with something entirely new, and entirely live – from an idea, to the studio, to your screen.
