General Manager

Anthony has been involved in community media for over two decades. Over that time he has had various levels of involvement with RMITV including crew member, producer and board member. He is passionate about providing opportunities to new or underrepresented voices to develop, contribute meaningfully and thrive in one of the most exciting and diverse community media environments in the world.

In his role as General Manager, Anthony oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the organisation.

Content & Development Manager

Jessie is in her final year of a Bachelor of Communications (Media) at RMIT and has been involved with RMITV since the 2021 lockdowns, working on any production she can get her hands on and in any role.

With a keen interest in all aspects of production (but a silent hankering for a job in post), Jessie aspires to leave behind the world of hospitality and continue her journey in the realm of media making.

She bakes when she’s stressed, so the office will never have a shortage of cookies.

Training Manager

Mikayla has completed an Associate Degree of Screen and Media Production and a Bachelor of Media and Communications that she finished last semester.

Mikayla has been involved in several RMITV productions in different roles and she is particularly interested in camera and editing.

If you happen to hear Taylor Swift playing in the office, it is 100% coming from her laptop. And no she will never turn it off.

Marketing & Events Manager

Olivia is an RMIT Media Honours Student with a love for pop culture and politics. She aptly adopts the golden retriever energy needed for this role.

She has worked as a co-editor of the student magazine ‘Catalyst’ and as a Camera Operator on RMITV’s ‘Wait… We’re Live?!” (2023) and a Supervisor on ‘First Run’ (2024).

Production Services & Technical Manager

Amelia studied a Diploma of Music (Sound Production) at RMIT in 2023. They are currently studying a Bachelor of Communication (Media) degree at RMIT, and are single-handedly bridging the gap between the media industry and music industry.

Since joining RMITV at the beginning of 2023, they have crewed on every production they can.

When they’re not pouring pints for the masses, studying, or in the office, you can find them writing silly little tunes, singing in their community choir, sharing hot takes about the film they just watched, or talking to their cat.

Amelia hopes to ‘make it’ one day in the music industry but will do anything to avoid working in hospitality forever.

Reviews Manager

Annie graduated her Bachelor of Arts in 2019, majoring in Criminology and Screen and Cultural Studies.

She currently works in the Melbourne Cinema industry whilst maintaining her position as Full Time Movie Watcher.

She wishes to amplify the voices of diverse writers and is always happy to give tips and pointers on where to get started writing.

In Review Social Media Assistant

Eli is a self-proclaimed Film Enjoyer™, meme connoisseur, and, much like half of Melbourne, also a part-time DJ, photographer & barista. When he's not doom-scrolling, laying down some funky fresh beats, or attempting to traumatise himself with the latest horror films, you can find him writing movie reviews for RMITV's In Review.

Eli says he enjoys writing because he enjoys providing nuanced analysis, and, in his opinion, he has really good taste. He hopes to grow In Review to include an even broader range of opinions from writers of all backgrounds.

Tessa is a recent graduate of the bachelor of communication (media) degree at RMIT. She loves film and television - but swiftly forgets all details of anything she’s ever watched when asked.

She has crewed for RMITV as a GFX and Camera Operator on ‘Wait We’re Live?!’ and as the Social Media Manager on ‘First Run’ (2024)

She works alongside Olivia as her assistant as they are attached at the hip.

Content and Training Assistant

Brody has recently graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Screen & Media, which has given him skills in many disciplines during film production.

Brody has been an RMITV member since 2022, has worked in various production roles, and is always up to challenge himself with new roles. He is most interested in the post-production department and aspires to improve his editing.

You may find him in the office vibing to funky tunes or having a chinwag with his colleagues.
