Overall, Terrifier 3 proves that a little Yuletide seasoning and some punchy editing go a long way to finally giving Art the film he clearly deserves, a raucous and thoroughly cruel slasher fiesta that's sure to be a Halloween season hit.

For those willing to embrace its unique approach, Nash's film offers an off-kilter and strangely beautiful experience.

Halloween may have come and gone, but I have one last spooky movie to talk about - director/special effects extraordinaire Damien Leone's 138-minute splatterfest epic Terrifier 2, a film that came with reports of people fainting and vomiting due to its incredibly vile and gratuitous violence.

Something in the Dirt offers up a bounty of intriguing morsels, and to witness filmmakers attempt so much with so little is inspiring in its own right.

This film, whilst deeply devastating and distressing, needs to be watched and watched again.
