As it is, Kung Fu Panda 4 is a worthy sequel and enjoyable film, even if it doesn’t quite live up to its potential.

Despite being overstuffed, The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes still manages to fight for its place in The Hunger Games series as it is filled with great performances, effective world building and entertainment value. 

A true testament to the belief in one’s talent and potential, AIR celebrates the story of how some commonly unknown underdogs saw something in someone that led to one of the biggest and most profitable sportswear partnerships of all time – and it is an endlessly entertaining and enjoyable watch to boot.

The real achievement of this ripping action flick, bless its existence, is its characters and themes: there’s a full meal here, and all of it is delicious.
